Some cleanouts happen because life moves forward — a move, a renovation, a fresh start. Others happen because something hard just occurred — a death in the family, a foreclosure, a home that got out of hand faster than anyone expected. TrashMouth handles all of it. We're an insured Metro Detroit crew based in Southfield, and we've completed more than 1,000 jobs across Metro Detroit, including a single project that cleared a 6,000 square foot former hospital — over 300 cubic yards hauled out in one job. We know how to move a lot of stuff, out of a lot of different kinds of properties, without making the day harder than it already is.

We don't need the backstory. If you're calling us, something needs to come out of a house — we're here for the work, not the story behind it.

What we clear

Estate cleanouts. When a family member passes or a home needs to be emptied before it's sold, someone has to go through every room, closet, garage, and attic. We do that work — furniture, appliances, boxes, decades of belongings — so the family doesn't have to carry it out themselves. More on how estate cleanouts work here.

Foreclosure cleanouts. Properties that need to be cleared before a sale, an auction, or a bank handoff. We work with owners, agents, and property managers to get a house empty and ready, on a timeline that works for whoever needs it done. Details on foreclosure cleanouts here.

Hoarder cleanouts. Rooms, garages, or entire homes where things have piled up over years. Our crew is built for volume — we don't flinch at a full house, and we treat every job with the same respect whether it's one messy room or wall-to-wall. Read about our judgment-free hoarding cleanouts.

Whole-house cleanouts. Downsizing, moving, prepping a rental between tenants, or just clearing a property top to bottom — one call, and our crew handles the whole property, not just a few items.

What to expect

  1. Call. Call or text 248-210-6723 and tell us what's going on — the type of property, roughly how full it is, and any timeline you're working with.

  2. We look. We'll get a real read on the job, either by talking it through, looking at photos, or walking the property, so we know exactly what we're dealing with before we show up with a truck.

  3. It's gone. Our insured crew clears it out — hauled, loaded, and gone. You don't lift a finger.

Why TrashMouth

We're insured, based in Southfield, and backed by more than 1,000 completed jobs across Metro Detroit — including a job that cleared an entire 6,000 square foot former hospital, over 300 cubic yards in one project. If we can handle that, we can handle your house, your parent's house, a rental, or a property in foreclosure. We work across all of Metro Detroit, and for renovation-heavy projects, our dumpster rental comes with a crew that loads it.

FAQ

How is an estate cleanout different from regular junk removal? Junk removal is usually a few items. An estate cleanout is the whole property — every room, every closet, everything that needs to come out before the house is sold, rented, or handed off. We do both, but a cleanout is the bigger job.

Can you handle a hoarder cleanout, even if it's a lot? Yes. We've cleared everything from a single packed room to a 6,000 square foot building with over 300 cubic yards hauled out. Whatever the volume, call 248-210-6723 and we'll talk through it.

We're dealing with a foreclosure timeline — can you work with that? Yes, we work with owners, agents, and property managers on foreclosure cleanouts and can talk through your timeline when you call.

What can't you take? We take almost everything — furniture, appliances, boxes, general household and estate items. Some materials like paint, chemicals, asbestos, fuel, and tires have special rules. Call 248-210-6723 and tell us what you've got, and we'll let you know exactly what we can and can't grab.

Does the family have to be there during an estate cleanout? That's up to you. Some families want to be on site for every load; others hand us access and check in by phone. We work either way, at the pace you set.

Ready to clear a property? Call or text 248-210-6723 or send us the details. Tell us what's going on and what kind of cleanout you're facing — we'll take it from there.
